Andor charts the life of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and it shows how the character came to be the rebel captain fans were first introduced to in the 2016 film.
The drama may be a prequel to a prequel, but it is a show that feels fresh in an exhilarating way. It stands out from its predecessors on the streaming platform because, instead of relying on fan service and nostalgia, it focuses on broadening the scope of the universe fans know and love.
While the show has been airing on Disney+ for several weeks now, some viewers may be wondering exactly how many episodes are left in the show’s first season.
‘Andor’ Guide: How Many Episodes Are in Season 1?
Episode 10 of Andor brought a close the most recent arc in Cassian’s journey, which saw him be imprisoned in Narkina 5 after being accidentally rounded up by Imperial forces, and the story culminated in an epic prison break.
The episode had the makings of a season finale, but in fact the show has more to offer with Episode 11 landing on Disney+ on Wednesday, November 16.
Andor Season 1 has 12 episodes in total, and fans are sure to expect certain storylines to wrap up, like Mon Mothma’s (Genevieve O’Reilly) quest to conceal how she’s funding the rebellion and Dedra Meero’s (Denise Gough) search for Andor to stop insurrectionist groups.

Will There Be a Second Season of ‘Andor’?
Since the first season of Andor is almost at its end, viewers may well be wondering if the show will return for a Season 2 and the answer is simple: Yes.
Before Season 1 of Andor was released, Lucasfilm confirmed that there would be a second season. Filming is expected to begin at Pinewood Studios in London on November 21, showrunner Tony Gilroy confirmed in an interview with Collider.
The show’s second season will also have 12 episodes, but it will have a slightly different format to Season 1 as it will be split into three-episode “blocks” with each block representing one year in Andor’s life.
This way, the show will take viewers on a fast-paced journey through the years left between Andor and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Andor airs Wednesdays on Disney+ and Season 1 will come to its conclusion on Wednesday November 23.
