In April, the Build-a-Bear online site—and, later, storefronts—will be stocked with special Animal Crossing: New Horizons stuffed animals. There will no doubt be high demand for this new product, so we suggest getting in early and getting your computers ready.
If you’re looking to get your own Animal Crossing Build-a-Bear, here’s everything you need to know.
WHAT TIME WILL ANIMAL CROSSING BUILD-A-BEAR GO ON SALE?
The new line of Animal Crossing Build-a-Bears will go on sale online starting at Tuesday, April 6, at 11 a.m. EDT.
HOW TO BUY ANIMAL CROSSING BUILD-A-BEAR
Potential buyers will need to go to the online queue and will be placed in a virtual waiting room once the Animal Crossing line goes on sale.
Buyers will be randomly assigned a place in line in the virtual waiting room. When your turn is approaching, you’ll be given access to purchase the Animal Crossing: New Horizons collection.
Guests who join the pre-waiting room before 11 a.m. EST will be randomly assigned a spot in line once the Animal Crossing: New Horizons collection goes on sale. Guests who join after 11 a.m. EST will file in at the end of the existing line.
Once it’s your turn in line, you’ll gain access to the Build-a-Bear shopping site and have a limited amount of time to purchase the Animal Crossing: New Horizons collection and complete your transaction.
There will be Build-a-Bears of Isabelle and Tom Nook, each selling for $51. You can select, which sounds come out of the stuffed animals from either the Animal Crossing theme music or by the character’s phrases.

It’s very likely that not everyone on line will be able to purchase something from the Animal Crossing collection because of the high demand, so get in early and be patient.
You should know that the Animal Crossing collection will be sold in Build-a-Bear Workshops over the summer. You can sign-up for email notifications to receive updates on online restocks and in-store arrivals.
The official site also suggests signing up or logging into your Bonus Club account for faster and easier check out.
